We’re often asked if we have writing classes for kids. Our classes are primarily designed for adults, but Los Angeles has plenty of writing instruction opportunities for children and teenagers.

It's that (best) time of year again! The Los Angeles Times Festival of Books is happening at USC on April 13-14 and we will be paneling it up all day on Saturday. The instructors' spring classes are listed after their names if you want to immediately apply that FOB inspiration.

We offer fewer poetry classes so we usually don’t have a term guide (like those we have for fiction or nonfiction), but our poetry classes this term are so new and exciting, we thought it might be time.
